SINGAPORE, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) -- Singapore's Health Ministry reported on Tuesday the country's 13th flu A/H1N1 related death case.
According to a statement by the ministry, a 80-year-old Chinese male with a history of chronic lung disease, heart disease and congestive cardiac failure passed away on Monday.
The cause of death was certified as acute myocardial infarction contributed by flu A/H1N1 and chest infection.
Singapore reported its first confirmed case of flu A/H1N1 on May 27. The country's first A/H1N1 related death case was reported on July 18.
