PUTRAJAYA: A 57-year-old man has died of the Influenza A (H1N1) increasing the death toll to 14, says Health director-general Tan Sri Ismail Merican.
He said 16 new locally transmitted cases were reported over the last 24 hours.
He added that only warded patients will be tested for the virus while those with symptoms of influenza should rest at home and heed medical advice.
Dr Ismail also warned the public against taking anti-viral medication as it can lead to resistance to the drugs as reported in some countries.
