MALACCA: There were 39 new cases of Influenza A(H1N1) recorded Friday, all locally-transmitted.
Of these, 36 involved clusters of transmission, Health Minister Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai said.
He also confirmed that seven colleges in Malacca were ordered to be clsoed for a week after 70 students tested positive for the virus.
So far, there have been 978 cases reported in the country, with only 20 still undergoing treatment, he added.
